The centre’s educational program is based on storytelling and educational arts (music, drama, and visual arts) as the media for recognizing and researching the world around us where learning becomes fun and accessible and individual talents are nurtured to develop along with language and communication skills.
Through participation in the arts, we believe that from as early age as possible children can be empowered to develop personal and social communication skills. Self confidence, self value and the opportunity to creatively explore and recognize the issues and concerns which affect our lives Treehouse Storytelling Centre involves children of all ages, aiming to develop from as early age as possible independence, self-confidence and individuality.
The creative team of professional artists, language teachers and enthusiasts, are trained to work with children of all ages.

Treehouse Storytelling Centre has been founded and developed in 1991 by Jelena Gašić in London (G. Britain).
In 2000, based on the perceived need for setting up an educational arts project with displaced youth and children from Kraljevo (Serbia) and the surrounding area, , she formed NGO “Naš svet-Our World”, who’s Project “Treehouse Storytelling Centre” was set up in 2006 in Belgrade . In 2007 this project has become independent and till today works in cooperation with NGO “Naš svet-Our World”.
